Project Description

Optimal utilization of state resources through the application of state-of-the-art technologies for petroleum refining using hydrocracking technology to convert ASORC’s fuel oil into higher-value products to achieve self-sufficiency in petroleum products in Upper Egypt, reduce imports, and increase job opportunities in Upper Egypt.

The project has a production capacity of 2.8 million tons per year of diesel according to European standards, and 400,000 tons per year of naphtha, in addition to other products such as 100,000 tons per year of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and other by-products such as coke and sulfur.
